Flesh: deep yellow with nearly-brown streaks
Additional notes on appearance: Some appeared to have more russeting than others, possibly due to otherwise-obscure powdery mildew?
Taste: Pumpkiny and wild, with a savory edge and high notes of citrus and cucumber.
Texture: course-grained and low-density
Additional notes on taste: This apple has an almost cheese-like quality to it, with it's dry savory flavor.
Disease/Pest notes: Apple scab, flyspecking, sooty apple spot, possible powdery mildew?
